After the historic flooding of the Asheville Arts District, many artists and arts organizations in that area saw catastrophic damage. Please consider donating to help those artists get back to normal. North Carolina Arts Foundation
As a charitable non-profit, the North Carolina Arts Foundation is a catalyst that enables individuals and organizations to learn about and support arts programs with proven public benefit. Hurricane Helene has caused countless artists to lose their entire body work, as well as equipment, materials, and supplies. The NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund is being run through the North Carolina Arts Foundation to provide funding and assistance directly and to artists and arts organizations affected by Hurricane Helene.
ArtsAVL
ArtsAVL believes the arts are essential for all Buncombe County residents. Creating and experiencing cultural and artistic expression contributes to both individual and community vitality. Arts and culture are vehicles for individual growth and healing, drive economic impact, spark important conversations, spur social change, and make our communities strong, vibrant, and more equitable.
River Arts District
The RADA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting RADA and its artists. The RADA Foundation funds scholarships for artists, advocates for creative spaces in the River Arts District, and raises funds for innovative projects and events that enhance the visitor experience.
NCAPER
National Coalition for Arts Preparedness & Emergency Response was formed in response to the significant losses and devastation artists and creative economies suffered in the wake of 21st Century disasters. As a voluntary task force of national, regional, state, and local arts organizations, public agencies, and foundations, the Coalition helps ensure that artists, arts/cultural organizations, cultural funders, and arts businesses have the capacity and ability to respond effectively to disasters and emergencies affecting the arts and culture sector.
CERF+
For 40 years, the Craft Emergency Relief Fund has provided emergency relief for craft artists. Building educational resources to empower craft artists to prepare for, navigate and thrive in the wake of emergencies and disasters, CERF+ remains a dedicated partner and advocate for craft artists and the craft community.
