Guest Artists

FRANK Gallery regularly shows the work of non-member artists, also known as guest artists or consigning artists. Guest artists pay no dues or fees, and they do not have gallery service obligations or serve on any FRANK committees. But, there may be volunteer opportunities if desired.

FRANK accepts consignment applications on an ongoing basis and applications are kept on file until our curatorial team performs its regular review of applications.  Applications are reviewed periodically based on the needs of the gallery. Invitational and juried shows are scheduled every six to eight weeks throughout the year and artists with applications on file are frequently invited to be guest artists and to apply to juried shows. We strive to show as many quality artists as possible to keep the gallery a vital reflection of the regional art scene.

Who is FRANK

FRANK is a contemporary fine art gallery featuring work of its member artists as well as exhibiting numerous other North Carolina artists. As a non-profit organization FRANK enriches its community not only through exhibitions but also through events and education. 

Member Artists and Consigning Artists

Member Artists work in the gallery, have committee responsibilities and participate in management decisions.  Consigning Artists have no work responsibilities for the gallery and in turn pay a higher commission than the Member Artists.

The gallery receives a 50% commission on Consigning Artist sales.
